I am trying to understand what the arrival of agents may mean for the way people work: how they change the rhythm of thinking, the texture of production, and the everyday experience of getting things done. I am not trained in computer science, but that is exactly why I have been trying these systems in practice, not just as a user, but also by building around them.

SpotPaper is an agent skill that turns empirical papers into dataviz-ready visual briefs.
It is built for moments when a paper has a strong empirical claim, but the mechanism or contrast is hard to communicate quickly. The skill reads the paper’s argument, identifies the visualizable structure, and produces a visual brief centered on the paper’s core mechanism and key result.
codex-speak
codex-speak is a lightweight, low-cost voice companion for Codex CLI on macOS, which
- bridges terminal-based Codex sessions with voice output;
- turns completed assistant replies into spoken playback or clean text output for hands-free use.
